Almost our New Jersey Ranch

Located in the small town of Promise, NJ (Exit 12 Rte 80), Beaver Beck Ranch consists of over 600 acres and spread across 8 locations, all within a few miles of each other.  Each location plays a critical function in the ranch's ecosystem.  Our herd of Breeding Cows and their calves are located on our largest farm which consists of 200 acres.  When the calves are weaned at 8-9 months they are moved to our primary location (150 acres), near the centre of Hope, to graze until they reach maturity (24-28 months old).  The rest of the locations are defended to making hay for both herds, which volition exist fed to them from December – Apr.  Our herd is 100% Grass Fed & Finished and receive no antibiotics or hormones.

Our Pasture & Woodland Raised Pigs (Non GMO, No Corn), are raised at our primary location and spend most of their days in the shaded forest foraging and wallowing.

Far superior

Stefan and family unit do a superb task of delivering a quality far beyond expectations. Meat is perfectly aged and butchered in slap-up, vacuum sealed bags. We allow the butcher make up one's mind our cuts and were not disappointed!

The ground meat makes excellent chili, burgers or meatloaf far higher up anything you'll notice in a supermarket or ownership social club. Steaks are perfectly trimmed and set up to get right later defrosting, simply add table salt and pepper. We've smoked a couple of the bigger cuts and find the meat is far tastier with no need to add much in the way of spices or sauces.

Few things to annotation if you've never bought bigger portions or dry out aged before: The meat loses some weight during the dry aging procedure (read: you get less) but gains flavor and texture well worth a few ounces. Too, don't overcook or use loftier rut, this stuff is the real bargain and the quality is noticeable. Take your time and savor the aroma of cooking real, grass fed beefiness.

A must for anyone concerned about their food. The family has lengthy feel raising animals. Now if they merely sold the perfect vino to go with it….

First off, Stefan was super helpful, answered all my questions and was very transparent.

Quality of the beefiness is awesome, slightly different gustation equally it'southward a grassfed grass finished product. Peace of mind that I know where my food is coming from and is local.

I picked up a i/iv share and its a lot of meat for a family of 3 (well, two adults and toddler). You lot practise get a lot of basis beefiness, then become artistic with meals. There a ton of cuts that I wouldn't normally purchase considering of fear of preparing it just it helps open my culinary skills at domicile to at least give it a shot.

Stefan too gave me a bout of the ranch, got a cool cowboy chapeau likewise!

Highly recommend Beaver Beck Ranch. Great prices, local to NJ, PA and NY.
